Why am I not a liberal?

Because liberals like Anna Quindlen are out there writing garbage like this:
Once the GOP was moderate and secular. But then the ‘60s arrived. Society divided itself neatly into the button-down and tie-dyed, and the Republican Party rallied around something called ‘family values.’ It’s a phrase that has appeared in every party platform since 1976 and is often accompanied by the adjective ‘traditional,’ which translated means that if you don’t have a stay-at-home mommy, a dominant daddy, some kids, a marriage license and a church membership, you’re disinvited to the party.
More here.
I’ll take the buttoned-down version. Not the tied dyed, free sex, lets all get VD and AIDS and have abortions, protest and complain and whine so the Government takes care of us, by taxing those hard working conservatives until they cannot pay anymore!
I guess I’ll work hard, go to church, raise my kids and not call the cops to do so. No the village is not going to raise my kid, to many idiots there.
