Mn Health Care
Here is a list of Senators and Representatives, of which Bly is one of the ringleaders, that are trying to take away our right to choose our health care plan and although they say we can pick our providers, how many choices will we have if providers are being paid by the State and you know damn well what the State will pay, look at Medicare!! They really gloss it up and make it seem like there is no downside, first and foremost the State is involved!! Thats a big downside!! This is the nanny government trying to fix something!! I have spoken with a number of people over the last few weeks and none!! Thats NONE, want anything to do with Mn Healthcare. They all want to be able to make their own choices!! They also did not put or were willing to put a cost on it for the average family.
If they really want to fix this they would listen to Professor Regina Herzlinger at the Harvard Business School whom advocates “consumer driven health care and she points out many inaccuracies in plans like Bly’s.
Bly claimed that Canada’s National Health Care works, I beg to differ, I have heard of more then one Canadian coming to Minnesota for care that they could not receive in Canada.
Look at the chart and you can find out more here.
Don’t believe for one minute that National/Universal/Socialized Health Care is the cure all. Because it isn’t. They compare us to other cultures stating our we do not live as long. Well we also have a polyglot of cultures in the US of A and with that, all the genetic issues they have. You cannot compare the US to countries that do not have the variety of peoples that we do. They also state our infant mortality rate is high. Well we also save more premature babies then any other country. We consider a baby born that has blood flow and a pulsating umbilical cord to be alive, even if the child is not viable. Other countries do not. We take care of our elderly, if your over 65 and have serious health problems elsewhere in the world, you may not receive the care you need as it may not be cost effective, how would you like it if your parent was told that it was not “cost effective”? It means you had better be born healthy and stay healthy until you die.
What happens in countries with National Health Care when they have waiting lists that seems to be a common thread. Cardiac care in Canada. Cardiovascular care in Sweden.
And finally lung cancer treatment in the United Kingdom. If you bring this up to Bly and the rest they will deny that this is true and I heard it said at the Town Hall meetings they held around the State this winter. So think long and hard and do your research.
