Last softball game of the season was tonight and we won, finally, 15-6 over one of the better teams.
And the person whom promised the MBWITW he would not pitch again! Evah!!
Pitched, do to lack of any of our other 2 pitchers being at game.
But I got through the game, had fun, pitched a good game and over the past couple of games my bat came alive. Even drew a walk tonight…and I never do that!!
Was a rough season, missed a couple of games do to getting drilled in the lower right leg and having a bad infection settle in..
We were always scrambling for players..But we never forfeited..
But all in all was fun and I enjoy it and playing with the #2 son was a treat, he played 2b tonight and did his usual good job. Both in the field and at the plate.
So our season ended 1-9-1 yes a tie, 29-29!!!
After last years 9 and 2 record and the #1 seed in the post season tournament, this was bit of a downer…
But all was good and now begins the long off season and then next year the should I or should I not play….Only 2 more years to reach 30 years of being involved as a player or (do to being on the IR) manager…
I’m thinking that is a good goal…
