  1. In order to be truly free, we must understand what freedom is. True freedom is not the freedom to do whatever we want. True freedom is the freedom to do the things God created us to do, to be who God made us to be. Our freedom is never absolute. We are not free to murder or steal or break God’s laws. As in all things, there are limits on freedom; otherwise, our freedom impedes another people’s freedom.
