As I wrote about in this post on December 27th, Dianne Feinstein is preparing "assault weapons" legislation which she intends to introduce in the Senate early in the new year.
In that post I wrote about how this legislation, as currently crafted, goes well beyond any reasonable restrictions, and in fact would ban almost all handguns, while requiring those of us who currently own these types of handguns to register with the federal government as if we were sex offenders, including being photographed and fingerprinted.
