You Could Lose all your Guns before 2035 under the Amnesty Bill before the Senate
We’ve written you before about the immigration amnesty bill that will be debated on the Senate floor beginning June 10.
We had just been through a hard fight to stop gun bans and registration. And some of you may have even felt the immigration amnesty was not a “gun” issue.
But if the amnesty bill is passed, within 20 years, Washington could be as anti-gun as Albany, Hartford, and Sacramento.
This is because the bill will create at least 11,500,000 new citizens — but probably closer to 20,000,000 — and, if history is any guide, they will vote 71% of the time for far Left Democrats like Barack Obama.
Impartial analysts have determined that Florida, Colorado, Nevada, and probably Arizona will never vote for Republicans again. Given this, for the rest of your life, the White House will be occupied by someone who is just as anti-gun and just as liberal as Barack Obama.
Conservatives in the Senate think that they can woo new immigrants to their side of the aisle. But it is informative that, after the last amnesty bill (the 1986 Simpson-Mazzoli bill signed by Ronald Reagan), those people given citizenship were LESS LIKELY to vote for more conservative and constitutional candidates.
Currently, the two political parties nationally, stand in a delicate political balance. Mitt Romney lost the presidency by 334,000 votes in four states (Florida, Ohio, Virginia and New Hampshire).
So if you add a net gain of almost 8.5 million Obama voters to the electorate, the same amnesty that turned California “blue” will probably turn the whole country anti-gun as well.
Already, the calls for gun confiscation in “blue” and “purple” states are growing louder and louder:
Likewise, an Iowa legislator said that we need to “start taking” guns from law-abiding gun owners;
This year, legislation in both Minnesota and Missouri would have (if enacted) forced residents to cough up their high-capacity magazines and many of their semi-automatic firearms;
And legislators in New Jersey were recently caught on an open microphone saying that “we needed a bill that was going to confiscate, confiscate, confiscate.”
By 2035, the battle will no longer be about stopping the expansion of background checks. Most likely, it will be about stopping the government from coming to take your guns away. And there is nothing we will be able to do about it.
1.) New York: Gov. Cuomo’s SAFE Act makes it illegal to possess a magazine that holds more than seven bullets beginning April 15, turning thousands of otherwise law-abiding citizens into felons by limiting legal use to a magazine that doesn’t exist.
The law is dangerously dumb, as Cuomo conceded on March 21, because, “There is no such thing as a seven-bullet magazine.”
Cuomo said he now supports making “technical corrections” that include lifting the ban on high-capacity magazines and, instead, making it illegal to have more than seven bullets in a magazine at one time.
2.) Colorado:Democrats in this traditionally gun friendly state pushed magazine capacity limits and universal background checks for all firearms sales through the legislature in bills signed into law by Gov. John Hickenlooper in mid-March.
Fortunately, an attempt in the House to impose a dangerously dumb “assault weapons” ban was thwarted by proponents’ own firearms ignorance when they inadvertently proposed banning widely-owned semi-automatic shotguns, leading to the bill’s demise and endless ridicule.
In the late Sixties, Ayers became a leader of the Weather Underground (WU), a splinter faction of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Characterizing WU as “an American Red Army,” Ayers summed up the organization’s ideology as follows: “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents.”

“The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the republican model of government, are justly considered deeply, perhaps as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.”
“In the first place, it is to be remembered, that the general government is not to be charged with the whole power of making and administering laws: its jurisdiction is limited to certain enumerated objects, which concern all the members of the republic, but which are not to be attained by the separate provisions of any.” –James Madison

“Did you realize that over 90% of the guns in this country are owned by white people in the suburbs and in rural areas? Ninety-percent of our guns are not owned by African-Americans, hispanics, minority groups, they’re owned by white people. Now what are these white people so afraid of out in the suburbs?” –filmmaker Michael Moore

“I do think there are certain times we should infringe on your freedom. … [I]f you want to smoke, I think you have a right to do so and I would protect that. … You certainly have a right to have a gun if you want. If you want to eat a lot and get fat, you have a right to do it. But our job as government is to inform the public.” –New York CityMayor Michael Bloomberg

The saga of the Reese family began back in August of 2011 when agents of Homeland Security Investigations, a new and growing federal police force, descended on the home and gun shop of Rick and Teri Reese and their two sons Ryin, 24, and Remington, 19. Assisted by forces from multiple agencies, HSI swept onto the Reese’s 85-acre homestead outside Deming, N.M., with helicopters, armored vehicles, and dozens of police cars as the epic climax to a months-long investigation and sting operation.
The military-style raid was all for show, though, because agents knew the Reeses were not there. The four family members had been arrested without incident in Las Cruces a short time earlier by agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. As a ruse, ATF had asked the family to come to their Las Cruces office to discuss some paperwork issues.
Oh HELL YA!! The Feds were involved!! Bahs-turds!!
Forbes states the NRA is winning. But one key ingredient is missing from the debate, those whom one would think would be supporting the Gun Rights of AMericans..Guess who?
Republican politicians are missing from the debate. The debate is an influence battle between President Barack Obama’s Democrats and Wayne LaPierre’s NRA. Of the top 25 stakeholders in the debate, there is only 1 prominent Republican politician (Chris Christie – who is pro-gun control). Barack Obama leads the pro-gun control voice with a net influence score of 268. LaPierre leads the anti-gun control side with a net influence score of 240.
“[I]f the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted. … If a republican government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the Divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws.” –Noah Webster, History of the United States
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department is criticizing New York’s new gun-control law, with the police union questioning how it would enforce the new provisions.
“At this time, it is not the intention of any member of our association to deprive any law abiding citizen their right to possess any legally owned firearm that has not committed another crime as defined by the current laws of the state of New York,” the Deputies Association of the County of Steuben said on the department’s Facebook page today.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s office confirmed that she will be introducing in the Senate Thursday a new version of the so-called assault weapon ban. A spokesman said the full text will be released at a press conference on Thursday.
The California Democrat intends to expand on the ban that expired in 2004, by including handguns and shotguns, in addition to rifles. She would decrease from two to one the number of cosmetic features on a gun to have it be considered an “assault weapon.” This means that if a gun has just one item like a pistol grip or bayonet lug, then it is illegal. Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed into law the same ban in New York last week.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a German pastor who refused to go along with the Nazi program during the WW2 era. He led a group of like-minded ministers in forming an alliance known as the Confessing Church movement, which was dedicated to standing in defiance and separation from the national churches of Germany.
Guns came to the rescue of three homeowners and a business this weekend.
Five people tried to break into a home in Oklahoma City, OK. The woman homeowner and her friend shot two of them with her gun. The other burglars fled to another house to escape the gunfire. The shooting victims are in serious to critical condition, but the woman and her friend were unharmed.
Without warning, a man tried to kick-in the door of a home in San Antonio, TX. The mother quickly called 911 while her son shot at the man through the door. The man shot his gun before he fled. The mother and son were unharmed and police are still looking for the suspect.
Two men in San Antonio, TX tried to steal some beer from a store, but were stopped because a customer had his concealed weapon. The suspects left with nothing and the police will not charge the customer.
The country that invented Nazism sets up national gun registry
Something very instructive just happened in Germany.
Germany just implemented “a vast registry that details every legal gun owner in the country, along with information about all of their firearms.”
They did this, based on records that, in some cases, “were kept on index cards across what used to be 551 separate local registries.”
Thus, with everyone’s name already on an index card (read: 4473 forms) in what was effectively a “universal background check,” it was a small step to a national gun registry.
Not surprisingly, “gun rights groups” in Germany raised no real opposition. ”We are used to it,” said one.
If they are preparing a raid on a house, they can scout the address in the database to be better prepared for what weapons might lie within. Before the database, they could only guess at overall numbers, and finding the weapons registered to a certain address had been laborious.
Do we need any better indication of why “universal background checks” are the most insidious aspect of Barack Obama’s gun control?
We know that gun confiscation is the ultimate endgame for many of the gun grabbers on the Left. Consider just a few, recent well-known cases:
* “Confiscation could be an option,” declared New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in a radio interview (December 27, 2012).
* “We cannot have big guns out here,” said Iowa Rep. Dan Muhlbauer. “Even if you have them, I think we need to start taking them.” (Interview with the Iowa Daily Times Herald, December 19, 2012.)
* “No one is allowed to be armed. We’re going to take all the guns,” said P. Edwin Compass III, the superintendent of the New Orleans police, right before several law-enforcement agencies began confiscating the firearms of lawful gun owners in the wake of Hurricane Katrina (2005).
The task of confiscating guns is much easier when the government has a registration list. And that is the number one reason gun owners should oppose background checks, because they give federal bureaucrats the framework for a national registration system.
If Obama gets his way, we will be much further down road to giving the Andrew Cuomos of the world the registration lists they need.
Some liberal gun-grabbers are trying to paint it as “non-controversial.” But this hideous provision requiring every American to get the permission of the government before exercising their Second Amendment rights must be stopped.
When they come for my guns. I expect to see celebrities, media whores, politicians and liberal anti freedom gun grabbers. I do not expect to see any military types or police. Because most I speak with and that is a large number in my line of work, say they want nothing to do with kicking in law abiding, tax paying citizens, neighbors and friends doors. Now I would not be surprised to see Federal Government Goons….But all are fair game. Just saying..But can you just see that ‘stack’ coming through your front door with Micheal ‘Lard-ass’ Moore leading it…Wow…Shotgun time for that whale!! Or put the name in of any politician?
Just saying…
From Facebook…
WE HAVE MORE FIREPOWER THAN THEY DO AND THEY ( THE GOVERNMENT LACKEY ARMY ) WILL BE UNIFORM AND WE WILL NOT…. ADVANTAGE PATRIOTS !!!
The world’s largest army….Are America’s hunters! Add to that all the Gun Owners and Bow Hunters and Patriots with other weapons… OK SO WHO SIDE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE ON ??
WE JUST HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER!!
A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion:
There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin. Allow me to restate that number:
Over the last several months Wisconsin’s hunters became the eighth largest army in the world.
More men under arms than in Iran. More than France and Germany combined.
These men deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin, to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed.
That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan’s 700,000 hunters, all of whom have now returned home safely.
Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally
establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world. And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states. It’s millions more.
The point?
America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of
home-grown firepower.
Hunting…
it’s not just a way to fill the freezer. It’s a matter of national
security.
That’s why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed.
For the sake of our freedom, don’t ever allow gun control or
confiscation of guns.
WE OUTNUMBER THEM AND MOST OF “THEM” ARE ON OUR SIDE ANYWAY!!
Guns, guns, guns. Love, love, love. America needs guns and love.
As humans, we have an inherent right to life. Our right to life (or self-defense) is a natural right and does not come from any document, even the Constitution. The Bill of Rights or the first ten amendments to the Constitution simply acknowledge our natural rights. Specifically, the Second Amendment recognizes our natural right to bear arms for self-defense.
Guns are the reactive, defensive answer to evil in the world. Love is the proactiveanswer to evil. We need both—guns and love.
(NaturalNews) Throughout history some of the most sadistic, depraved and violent global leaders were most notable for, of all things, their imposition of strict gun control, but President Obama, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Piers Morgan and others will never admit it because doing does not support their political anti-gun agendas.
Mrs. Loman said if he did not run away and came into the house she would have shot him.
The gun saved her life. While politicians in Washington, DC want to strip Americans of their second amendment right, guns are the reason why many citizens are still alive.
