High cost of illegal aliens behind the wheel

In my career as an EMS provider I have seen many examples of illegals, whom are in this country driving and are pretty damn clueless..
I have cared for my share of the same whom have been seriously injured in accidents they caused and have seen the dead Americans from same accidents.
But I have also experienced it first hand when my own family was clobbered by one.
On a Christmas Say back when my sons were little and I was working as a medic in SumCity.
When I received a phone call from my Dad telling me there had been an accident..
MBWITW and my boys were at her Mom’s in a nearby town, where my parents also lived. They were out and about when passing through an intersection on the ‘Green” light (apparently some illegals inability to speak English also means they cannot comprehend light colors and what the hell they mean) a young Hispanic Illegal blew the light hitting MBWITW’s car in the right front, spinning them our and then somehow nailing them in the back left..My Mom-in-Law was front right and my eldest back right. Both were bruised and shaken, #1 Son was young enough that he still road in a car seat.
Police, fire EMS was there and being as most knew Mom-in-law and MBWITW (Grandson/Nephew worked for EMS provider) convinced Mom-in-Law to go to hospital. All clear just bruised and sore.
Illegal Hispanic driver of other vehicle a young female was okay and had….wait for it..
No drivers license…
No insurance..
Ended up fleeing back to Texas where insurance company tracked her down whereupon she disappeared again..To Mexico..
Yeah so tell me about the costs of letting illegals run around illegally in America..
Round them up, let the states do it and to hell with the RodRammed Feds..
Ship them back..I really do not give a shit where. Just ship them, all of them.

Some Logic For Anti-Gun Zealots

Anyone with a bunch of dough can afford to build or buy a very secure home, in a gated community, or install a state-of-the-art security system. Furthermore, many of them have security of their own. The celebrities in Hollywood are well known for having bodyguards, all of whom are fully strapped with the very Glocks and Sig Sauers they want you and I to relinquish. They can afford it. We peons who live among the rest of the unwashed masses usually can’t afford the $500 to install a security system and the additional $50.00 a month to have it monitored. And realistically, a security system is not much of a deterrent. In fact, by the time your alarm going off lights up a keyboard and computer screen at the security company’s call center in Anytown U.S.A., and they call your local police, a bad-guy can be in and out of your house, having put a bullet in your temple and be in the wind. The cops get there just in time to draw a chalk outline around your body and hold a less-than-sincere press conference.

Furthermore, the celebrities, and other multimillionaires with their $300/hr bodyguards, have nothing to fear. They live in gated communities with roving armed guards, and their bodyguards often live with them, in their homes. When glass breaks in the middle of the night, they have a seven foot tall, ex-marine operator checking the perimeter, often armed with multiple firearms, and the cops will likely show up at Lisa Kudrow’s or Alec Baldwin’s house a lot faster than yours or mine.

Regarding Immigration Proposals, Beware of Your Opponents’ Motivation

The subject of immigration (and evidently, illegal immigration) has proven to be a divisive issue for conservatives.  There are divergent opinions as to which policies should be pursued vis-à-vis the 12 million illegal immigrants who reside in the country.  However, as conservatives, there are certain fundamental goals and red lines that we should all unite behind as we commence debate on this issue.  Any so-called comprehensive immigration reform proposal that is worth more than a bucket of spit must ensure the following:

  • we are not saddled with 12 million new consumers of the welfare state;
  • we don’t have 12 million new Democrat voters;
  • those receiving the amnesty will not have the ability to spawn chain migration;
  • before any amnesty is implemented, there is a complete establishment of visa tracking, border control, and mandatory E-verify to ensure that this won’t create another ‘Charlie Brown with the football’ scenario of more waves of illegal immigration;
  • our legal immigration system move towards a merit-based process that favors high-skill immigrants instead of the current “Kennedy” system that is random and tendentious towards low-skilled immigrants.

Undoubtedly, Republican negotiators of reform proposals, like Marco Rubio, are well-intentioned in their desire to solve a serious problem with thoughtful solutions.  However, if they are really committed to advancing conservative solutions and addressing conservative concerns about the immigration system, they must understand the adversity we all face with our Democrat opponents on this issue.  Their proposals must be crafted to work not just in a world full of Marco Rubios and Paul Ryans, but in a political system full of Luis Gutierrezs and a judicial sphere full of ACLU and MALDEF (Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund)  types.  Hence, when proposing immigration bills, to know thy enemy is key.  . . . please click here for the rest of the post →

We are talking about a ‘tool’ here folks, an inanimate object (you do know what ‘inanimate’ is don’t you?)

How can such a ‘thing’ be illegal?

Are cars illegal? They must ’cause’ people to drive ‘drunk’, ‘speed’, ‘run stop signs’, do ‘drive by’ shootings, etc.

Are bats, knives, clubs, hammers, etc illegal?

They must cause stabbings, beatings, etc?

How about ‘politicians” they pass laws and regulations that cause people to break, violate and ignore their stupidity. So shouldn’t ‘they, the politicians’ be illegal?

How about Government itself? Regulatory Boards with ‘appointed’ officials that pass rules, regulations and impose ‘fees’ on the public that we may ‘ignore’ therefore breaking them..

So these officials must be ‘illegal’ also..

Becasue it is quite apparent that ‘people’ in and of them selves would NEVER do anything ‘illegal’?

The shoe is on the other foot and the Mexicans from the State of Sonora, Mexico do not like it. Can you believe the nerve of these people? It’s almost funny. The State of Sonora is angry at the influx of Mexicans into Mexico!!!

Nine state legislators from the Mexican State of Sonora traveled to Tucson to complain about Arizona’s new employer crackdown on illegals from Mexico. It seems that many Mexican illegals are returning to their hometowns and the officials in the Sonora state government are ticked off. A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson on Tuesday to state that Arizona’s new ‘Employer Sanctions Law’ will have a devastating effect on the Mexican state. At a news conference, the legislators said that Sonora, – Arizona’s southern neighbor – made up of mostly small towns – can not handle the demand for housing, jobs and schools that it will face as Mexican workers return to their hometowns from the USA without jobs or money.

The Arizona law, which took effect Jan. 1, punishes Arizona employers who knowingly hire individuals without valid legal documents to work in the United States. Penalties include suspension of, or loss of, their business license. The Mexican legislators are angry because their own citizens are returning to their hometowns, placing a burden on THEIR state government.

‘How can Arizona pass a law like this?’ asked Mexican Rep Leticia Amparano-Gamez, who represents Nogales. ‘There is not one person living in Sonora who does not have a friend or relative working in Arizona,’ she said, speaking in Spanish. ‘Mexico is not prepared for this, for the tremendous problems it will face as more and more Mexicans working in Arizona and who were sending money to their families return to their hometowns in Sonora without jobs,’ she said ‘We are one family, socially and economically,’ she said of the people of Sonora and Arizona.

Wrong! The United States is a sovereign nation, not a subsidiary of Mexico, and its taxpayers are not responsible for the welfare of Mexico’s citizens. It’s time for the Mexican government, and its citizens, to stop feeding parasitically off the United States and to start taking care of its/their own needs.

Too bad that other states within the USA don’t pass a law just like that passed by Arizona. Maybe that’s the answer, since our own Congress will do nothing!

***New Immigration Laws***
1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools.
2. All ballots will be in this nation’s language.
3. All government business will be conducted in our language.
4. Non-residents will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here.
5. Non-citizens will NEVER be able to hold political office.
6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs. Any burden will be deported.
7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount at least equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
8. If foreigners come here and buy land… options will be restricted. Certain parcels including waterfront property are reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.
9. Foreigners may have NO protests; NO demonstrations, NO waving of a foreign flag, no political organizing, NO bad-mouthing our president or his policies. These will lead to deportation.
10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be actively hunted and, when caught, sent to jail until your deportation can be arranged. All assets will be taken from you.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today’s American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented.

Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.

They had waved goodbye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France and Japan. None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the United States of America as one people.

When we liberated France, no one in those villages were looking for the French American, the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country’s flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I’m sorry, that’s not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900′s deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.

And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn’t start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.
