California lawmakers have voted unanimously to order an audit of the state’s powerful Department of Child Protective Services after testimony from parents who stunned their representatives with testimony of atrocities.
In an attempt to avoid public scrutiny, President Obamaplans to sign the controversial United Nations gun treaty in August, when Congress is in summer recess. According to White House press secretaryJay Carney, Obama will sign the treaty “before the end of August,” even though legally he could have done so next week.
A new bill advancing through the Texas Legislature would allow doctors to decide when you die, giving them the authority to issue “Do Not Resuscitate” orders regardless of the wishes expressed by patients or their families.
The legislation, known as Texas S.B. 303, is sponsored by State Sen. Bob Duell, vice chair of the Texas Senate Committee on Health and Human Services. Duell is a Republican, and the GOP holds the majority in the chamber. The bill has already been approved by the committee.
“This should scare a lot of people because what this bill says is that a doctor can impose a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order, write it into the patient’s chart even over the patient’s objection,” said Burke Balch, director of the National Right to Life Committee’s Robert PowellCenter for Medical Ethics.

Is Gov. Deval Patrick serious? He doesn’t know the motivation of the terrorists?
On Sunday he went on “Face the Nation,” and host Bob Schieffer asked him if he had “any clearer idea” of why the “two young men” did it.
“Not yet, Bob,” Deval began, more than 48 hours after the shootout. “Uh, and it’s hard, it’s hard for me and for many to imagine what could motivate, uh, people to, uh, harm, uh, innocent men, women and children, uh, in the way that, uh, these two fellows did.”
Republicans and Democrats in Washington Conspire to Exempt Themselves from Obamacare
If this happens, the nation needs to collectively march on Washington, DC, burn it to the ground, and spread salt over the ground.
According to the Politico, in super secret “high-level, confidential talks”, Harry Reid, John Boehner, the Obama administration, and other lawmakers are working to exempt themselves and their staffs from Obamacare.
They want to rush it through, probably sneaking it through on some other legislation that no one cares about, and get it all done before anyone can say anything about it.
If the Republican Party leadership in Congress goes along with this ride, there will need to be a new third party that challenges both the GOP and Democrats.

“The public should be particularly skeptical when you have elected politicians of either party enacting rules limiting the ability of public citizens to criticize the behavior of their elected officials.” – Senator Ted Cruz, R-TX
Sources inside the Senate tell me that the Republican Conference is scared to death of the tactics of Senators Lee, Cruz and Paul – that it is supposedly putting them in a tough spot.
Several of the Republicans are using the Manchin-Toomey compromise plan as an excuse to cave on the gun filibuster. They claim that Senators Lee, Cruz, and Paul are running ahead of the conference in their insistence on a filibuster.
What they fail to see is that the cloture vote is the vote to stop the gun legislation from passage.
Colion Noir!! Don’t fall for misleading poll questions and consider whom they are asking.

Teach your Children well. Or let them be indoctrinated and brainwashed by the Government School System…
Homeschooling: The Future of Liberty A common feature of authoritarian regimes is the criminalization of alternatives to government-controlled education.Dictators recognize the danger that free thought poses to their rule, and few things promote the thinking of “unapproved” thoughts like an education controlled by parents instead of the state. That is why the National Socialist (Nazi) government of Germany outlawed homeschooling in 1938.
Once again lamenting Obama’s not king: “What I will say is that this is not the president’s idealized budget. It is not what he would do if he were king, or if only people who supported his proposals were in Congress.” –White House Press SecretaryJay Carney
Blame the sequester: “It is important to bear in mind that the March household and payroll surveys are the first monthly surveys to look at employment since the beginning of sequestration. While the recovery was gaining traction before sequestration took effect, these arbitrary and unnecessary cuts to government services will be a headwind in the months to come, and will cut key investments in the nation’s future competitiveness.” –Obama’s economic adviser Alan B. Krueger
Rose-colored glasses: “I think it’s important to look at the overall picture on the economy. We have made a lot of progress, 6.5 million private sector jobs created over the last three years. The housing market’s coming back, manufacturing’s coming back. The American auto industry is back, but there’s more to do. And so, we shouldn’t focus on any individual month because if we created 290,000 jobs this month, I would have given you the same answer, which we’re making progress, but we have to do more.” –Obama senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer
Village Academic Curriculum: “The courts have consistently determined that the Second Amendment does not ensure each individual the right to bear arms. The courts have never found a law regulating the private ownership of weapons unconstitutional. This means that the rights of this amendment are not extended to the individual citizens of the states. So a person has no right to complain about a Second Amendment violation by state laws.” –Connecticut Northeast Middle School social studies worksheet

You think you’re winning just because you’re the only one on the field still trying to play because everyone else has left to the victory ceremony. No one cares about your stupid gun control anymore and only a dwindling number of really dumb people think it will actually achieve anything. We know you hate freedom, Obama, but your just going to have to find a different one to attack. Here, have a cookie.’ Omit that last part if you don’t have a cookie to give him; teasing him with a cookie would just be mean.” –humorist Frank J. Fleming

My damn rage meter is at the boiling point today. Obamacare, Benghazi, the Economy, Jobs or Less, Fast and Furious and what really pisses me off is how the rodrammed media ignores all that and under Buck Ofama‘s guidance we, the tax paying, law abiding Citizens have to struggle to protect OUR Freedoms and Rights!!
In only three weeks, radio and TV host Tom Gresham has delivered more than 6,000 new life members to the NRA, amounting to more than $2,000,000. Gresham announced a special Lifetime Membership deal with the NRA on Thursday, January 10.
As we begin a new month, a quick wrap up of some of the many events in what can only be described as a very long and highly-contentious January, a status check on critical issues today, and look forward to what February might have in store for us. Notice I wrote “might” – predicting the future isn’t in our tool kit. But trendspotting is something that might give contextual clues to the future.
In January, Washington’s gun control legislators hoisted straw men by the dozens as they rolled out their new, improved and even less-founded-in-reality “assault weapons ban”. California Senator Dianne Feinstein (D) jumped squarely astride her favorite white mule and brayed her way across the media with a proclamation that her bill would make America safe again.

Buck Ofama has yet to accept responsibility for anything!! Why would he start now?
When Discussing the Second Amendment, Keep the First in Mind TooBy Jay Carney, White House Press SecretaryThank you for participating in We the People to speak out on an issue that matters to you.Let’s not let arguments over the Constitution’s Second Amendment violate the spirit of its First. President Obama believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms. However, the Constitution not only guarantees an individual right to bear arms, but also enshrines the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press — fundamental principles that are essential to our democracy. Americans may disagree on matters of public policy and express those disagreements vigorously, but no one should be punished by the government simply because he or she expressed a view on the Second Amendment — or any other matter of public concern.
Look, like the majority of Americans, I believe that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms. This country has a strong tradition of gun ownership that’s been handed down from generation to generation. Obviously across the country there are regional differences. There are differences between how people feel in urban areas and rural areas. And the fact is the vast majority of gun owners in America are responsible — they buy their guns legally and they use them safely, whether for hunting or sport shooting, collection or protection.
But you know what, I am also betting that the majority — the vast majority — of responsible, law-abiding gun owners would be some of the first to say that we should be able to keep an irresponsible, law-breaking few from buying a weapon of war. I’m willing to bet that they don’t think that using a gun and using common sense are incompatible ideas — that an unbalanced man shouldn’t be able to get his hands on a military-style assault rifle so easily; that in this age of technology, we should be able to check someone’s criminal records before he or she can check out at a gun show; that if we work harder to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people, there would be fewer atrocities like the one in Newtown — or any of the lesser-known tragedies that visit small towns and big cities all across America every day.
With the tragic shooting at Sandy Hill Elementary School in Connecticut last Friday has come reinvigorated talk of gun control and a new ban on assault weapons. This is not surprising and was expected, hell, Democrat Representative Jerrold Nadler even called upon Barack Obama to "exploit" this senseless shooting. It is interesting that so soon after the tragedy his thoughts turned to "exploiting" this for political reasons rather than towards those who were affected by the shooting.
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911,Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
