New Bill Would Require the Conscription of “All Persons Between the Ages of 18 and 25 to Perform National Service”
This week Charles Rangel, a crazy politician from New York who has recently been pushing for regulations on private gun ownership, is now putting forward a bill that would force young people to take up arms for the state, or at least work in some uniformed way to help the government with their never ending war effort.
H.R. 748 would require everyone from 18-25 to join:
“uniformed services or as civilian service in a Federal, State, or local government program or with a community-based agency or community-based entity, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, to provide for the registration of women under the Military Selective Service Act, and for other purposes.”
Not only are the wars currently taking place around the world totally inhumane and illegitimate, but the very concept of conscription is nothing more than slavery, forcing someone to do something against their will.
Not only that but a mandatory draft would put people into a dangerous situation and force them to kill against their will.
With no end in sight for the wars across the Middle East and now Africa, it should be no surprise that bringing the draft back would definetly be on the agenda.
They may be able to dress up the language and make it seem like its no big deal, but a bill of this nature could certainly be used to force unwilling people into war in foreign lands that they have no desire in fighting.
Although, this will probably be targeted mostly at developing auxiliary citizen police forces to suppress people at home, at least for now anyway.

Thursday’s CBS This Morning trumpeted Piers Morgan’s “crusade against gun violence in America“, and gave the CNN host four and half minutes to spout his pro-gun control views unopposed. Morgan endorsed implementing something akin to the “really draconian” firearms regulations that the U.K. passed after the 1996 Dunblane massacre. Despite denying that he wanted to take guns away from Americans, the British anchor repeatedly called for complete bans on “assault weapons” and handguns, along with high-capacity magazines.
Already, activists are planning a nationwide “Gun Appreciation Day” on Jan. 19, two days before the inauguration. Organizers hope it will rival the so-called “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” protests from last year.
Meanwhile, firearms manufacturers and organizations are seeing a big spike in activity. The NRA says 100,000 people joined in the last 20 days. They expect that what they call the “attack” on the Second Amendment will boost their membership from 4.2 million to 5 million.
Some critics, mainly People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, have spoken out against the hunt saying that decapitation of the snakes—which is considered a valid form of euthanization for the hunt—is borderline barbaric and sent a letter to Florida’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission earlier this week.
“This bounty hunt is misguided in the first place, but allowing hunters to decapitate pythons—who remain alive and in agony and who will writhe for an hour even after their heads have been cut off—is despicably cruel,” PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk in a released statement. “Many of these animals were once someone’s ‘pets,’ who have since been thrown out like garbage, and the FWC has an obligation to ensure that they don’t suffer any more than they already have.”

The Middle East has experienced the worst storm to hit the region in 10 years, according to meteorological officials. After days of heavy rains and high winds, the region has been covered in snow taking at least eight lives, causing millions of dollars in damage, and leaving parts of Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian territories without power, and paralyzing the Turkish city of Istanbul. The heavy rains damaged crops, properties, and electricity infrastructure in Lebanon. Rare snowfall closed roads throughout the region, and flooding caused several deaths. Strong winds and rain disrupted operations at Egypt’sSuez Canal and forced the closure of several ports. More than 500 Palestinians in the West Bank have been injured and over 400 homes have been flooded. The severe conditions have hit vulnerable populations in war torn Syria particularly hard as well as the conflict’s refugees, specifically the 50,000 living in the Zaatari tent camp in northern Jordan.

But Israel won’t go down without a fight.You will own the unemployment that will go up as part-time workers will not be able to work past 28 hours, due to your health care plan. You will own the increase in food stamps and welfare benefits and other costs as those former self-sustaining folks seek ways to take care of their families.
You will own the increases in healthcare as it becomes more costly and scarce as Obamacare takes full affect. You will own the lack of doctors who don’t want to practice medicine that treats numbers instead of people.
You will own the loss of middle class income as it plummets as more taxes go into effect. More people on the dole. Who will pay for that?
You will own the costs of unions who are taking from the very people they were designed to help. We will owe our children’s future to China because we can’t afford the goods made in America because of union costs. We will owe our future monetarily to China because of the loans you keep taking from them and the imbalance of trade that has become the new norm under your administration.
Be prepared to OWN it, Mr. Obama, because the legacy of our United States is at a critical juncture. Your policies will probably continue to tear down the economy and tear down the personal wealth of millions of ‘average’ folks. So all those who want a handout for your vaginas and cigarettes and phones…be prepared to lose those also as the source of money for them will be taken away by the very policies you supported. Small businesses cannot afford to carry that burden. The middle class cannot continue to carry that burden. Even if all the so-called rich gave ALL their money and assets, it would not even begin to put a dent in the deficit you have brought to this country. You have brought division to a country that you swore to bring together. Some great communicator you are.
If I am proven wrong in four years, I will admit it here (or wherever) publicly.
Until then, I guess I stand here like Leonidas did, crying “????? ????”…you are in the process of taking everything else, but I will fight to bring my country back to the place it deserves to be, not in the cesspool of destitution you seem to want to bring it.
