Remington Execs obviously do not remember the gun owner boycott that nearly bankrupted S&W and forced its sale when it signed on to the Clintons Gun Ban Deal 20 yrs ago.

It is disappointing to say the least that Remington Arms has chosen to accept government blood money to sell out its loyal customers and the 2A by remaining in NY when it could have written its own ticket and upheld the 2A rights of American citizens by moving to any one of a number of free states that were vying for its jobs and tax revenue.

I would have to ask Remington execs, just whom do you think those 5k Sniper Rifles that were purchased with the governments 20 pcs of Silver will be used against ?? -

Goodbye Remington, I will no longer purchase any of your arms, accessories or ammunition.

This might be a good time for me to add that no one’s taking my guns either. Period. And if Dianne Feinstein orders me from her lofty perch on the left-coast to retroactively register them with some federal autocracy, I think I might just forget I even have them. Tens of millions of law-abiding, God-fearing Americans just like me and Dad, I suspect, feel the same way.

I love guns. Grew up with ‘em. As a former police officer with 12 years in the U.S. military, I know how to use them, too – use them well. I plan to buy more – a bunch more. In fact, who’s to say I don’t already have a veritable arsenal?

Ruger has a way to send a letter to all your elected Politicians (legally or otherwise elected)at the State and Federal levels at one glorious time…

A Day or 3 or 4 Late…

But finally made it…

To the range.. Nice day, although a bit breezy and coolish, but sunny and nice…

Brought the GP100, Ruger Mk II and Kahr…(like that is going to leave my side!??!!)

And put a bunch through the Ruger, a few through the GP100 and a few clips worth through the Kahr..all from rests today, no offhand…

Was happy with all, except I really cannot blame the Kahr for my lousy offhand shooting..

At about 10 yards….damn targets keep getting smaller!!!

Then went over to the 50 yard range and tuned the Marlin 60 and its scope in…Also had the SKS along and that will need some work…managed to fire one round and then click, no bang, click, no bang..dang it!!

And finally the M44 Mosin…Dear lord DO NOT ever FORGET to put the hearing protection on ever again!!!
Anyone else hear that ringing sound??

What a BOOMstick that thing is…

Needs a scope though…targets way to small through open sights for some reason….

To measure the increased velocity of the .357 from the 77/357 rifle, the same test rounds that were later used for accuracy testing were fired through a Cutting Edge Dynamics (CED) M2 chronograph. Black Hills‘ 125-grain jacketed hollow points proved to be the fastest of the test group with an average velocity of 2,794 fps. Hornady‘s 140-grain FXT, an excellent all-purpose cartridge for both handguns and rifles, left the barrel at an average velocity of 1,818 fps. Federal’s 180-grain Swift A-Frame jacketed hollow points, a dedicated hunting round, produced an average velocity of 1,400 fps. Based on these results, proper shot placement with bullets in these weight ranges should get the job done.

A long gun chambered for .357 has other advantages to consider. The 77/357 will feed both .357 Mag. and .38 Spl. loads. As a result, this handy little rifle can be loaded down for low-recoil plinking with soft-shooting .38 target loads, or ramped up to full power with a wide variety of .357 factory or handloads. The .357 is a common round that is easy to find at reasonable prices, and, best of all, you can buy a 50-round box of cartridges to practice with for about the same price as a 20-round box of rifle rounds.
