Says nothing…

Office of Sen. Al Franken
February 20, 2014

Dear MaddMedic,

Thank you for contacting me about the Undetectable Firearms Act. I appreciate hearing from you.

The Undetectable Firearms Act prohibits the possession or manufacture of firearms that are undetectable by metal detectors and X-ray machines. The law protects the public by preventing criminals and terrorists from sneaking weapons into protected environments, like airplanes.

The law was originally enacted in 1988, but it was scheduled to expire on December 9, 2013. H.R. 3626 is a bipartisan bill that extends the Undetectable Firearms Act for an additional ten years. The Senate passed this bill by unanimous consent, and President Obama signed the bill into law on December 9, 2013.

Thank you again for contacting me, and please don’t hesitate to contact me again regarding this issue or any other issue of concern to you in the future.

Sincerely,

Al Franken

United States Senator

Ahh!! An, Al Franken, letter! You have no idea how much I look forward to these, they are funnier than Franken’s comedy act. Undetectable Firearms Act. My, my. Is Franken saying that muzzleloaders are okay if polymer? Bullets will show up. In fact, I have personally seen X-ray scan of a polymer gun hidden in a messenger/laptop-type bag, and it showed up without any problem. It depends on how sensitive the scanner is set and, how well the person operating the machinery is skilled and awake. No pulse, polymer gun gets through. Awake, polymer gun is in fact, revealed. Maybe the polymer gun is going through a machine set low to fool people into thinking there is a danger all around them, and maybe the person monitoring the scan is stupid, asleep, or both. If a polymer gun is a muzzleloader, does Franken believe that it will get past a security check? But then how would the powder? Ball ammo? Maybe disguised or concealed in a curly-top wig on someone’s head?? Al Franken, you sound like one of “Those” conspiracy kooks, of the Marxist Party. BE ADVISED: The law that HR-3626 represents, keeps absolutely nobody safe. Improvised weaponry is easier and the imbeciles screening are afraid of confrontations. That is why they always call for “Security!”. Until the next “Dead Fish” letter from Al Franken is posted, this one will be comedy enough. DEFEAT AL FRANKEN – VOTE FOR A PATRIOT!

Yes, defeat Al Franken, along with some others who have no sense of value or respect for the constitution or the nation.
