Media BiASSed: Talking Heads and Screeching Harpies…….

TV News vs. President Trump: The First 30 Days

A new American President is always a big story, but TV news is obsessed with the Trump administration — and not in a good way. In the first 30 days (January 20 to February 18), our analysts determined that the President and his team were the subject of 16 hours of coverage on just the Big Three evening newscasts, or more than half (54%) of all of the news coverage during this period. And while most new presidents enjoy a media honeymoon, the tone of Trump’s coverage was nearly as hostile (88% negative) as we found during last year’s presidential campaign (91% negative).

NBC Asks Schumer: ‘Do You Buy’ This ‘Kinder, Gentler’ Trump?

On Wednesday’s NBC Today, co-host Savannah Guthrie began an interview with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer by suggesting that President Trump’s performance during Tuesday night’s address to Congress was all an act: “Before we get to the substance of the speech, and we will, let’s talk about this decisive change in the President’s tone. To borrow another political phrase, is this a kinder, gentler Donald Trump and do you buy it?”

Lemon: Trump Speech Was If a Student Wrote It with Words Trump’s Not Smart Enough to Know

Early Wednesday morning, CNN Tonight host Don Lemon descended into the gutter by suggesting that President Donald Trump had no role in writing his speech to Congress because it sounded as though it was “written by a college student for someone else trying to use big words” Trump wasn’t smart enough to understand. Of course, as some might remember, this is the same CNN program that the President called out during his marathon February 16 press conference as being devoutly anti-Trump.

Outraged Andrea: Helping Immigration Crime Victims is ‘Fearmongering’

In a contentious interview with Republican Congressman Michael McCaul on her MSNBC show on Wednesday, anchor Andrea Mitchell accused President Trump of “fearmongering” during his address to Congress Tuesday night. His supposed offense? Proposing the creation of a government office to aide the victims of criminal illegal aliens.

The View Slams Trump: ‘He Exploited That Widow!’

Wednesday on ABC’s The View the panel blasted Trump for honoring the widow of a fallen Navy SEAL at last night’s address before Congress. Host Sunny Hostin had the harshest take, calling the move “exploitative,” even blaming Trump for the veteran’s death.

On MSNBC, Left-Wing Celebrity Kooks Griffin and Reiner Plot Impeachment

The far-left celebrity circus came out in full force on a special post-speech edition of Hardball, Tuesday. As if Bill Maher mocking a war widow as a “prop” wasn’t enough, liberal comic Kathy Griffin and director Rob Reiner both hyped impeachment conspiracy theories. Griffin speculated, “I feel like this whole crowd, they are truly going to go down.”
