Nets Demand Evidence 123 Times, Scold Nunes for Giving It

When President Trump made his claim that President Obama “wiretapped” Trump Tower during the presidential campaign, the media demanded evidence. Since Trump’s initial tweet on March 4, the evening news shows of ABC, CBS and NBC have called on the White House to provide more evidence a grand total of 123 times.

After New Surveillance Claims, Partisan Nets Instead Whine Over Trump’s ‘Baseless’ ‘Fiction’

In the wake of explosive new claims from Congressman Devin Nunes that Donald Trump and aides were surveilled during the presidential transition, the partisan networks on Thursday circled back to focus on the President’s “baseless,” “false,” “fictional” Tweets. ABC, CBS and NBC also questioned the credibility of the House chairman who brought the information to the President.

NBC’s Lauer Hopes Russia Investigation Will ‘Mortally Wound’ Trump Administration

During an interview with Senator John McCain on Thursday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer could not contain his enthusiasm for the idea that the politically-charged congressional investigation into supposed ties between the Trump campaign and Russia could somehow bring down Donald Trump’s months-long presidency: “Do you think that when all of those shoes drop, that they may mortally wound this young administration?”

MSNBC’s Velshi Asks If Devin Nunes Should Resign

During MSNBC’s 11 a.m. ET hour on Thursday, anchor Ali Velshi tried to turn legitimate questions raised by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes into whether there was “inappropriate” surveillance of Donald Trump’s presidential transition team by the Obama administration into a scandal that may require the Republican Congressman to resign from office.

Irony: Matthews Knocks ‘Loser’ GOP Running Washington Like ‘Barbarians,’ Compares Nunes to a Dog

Lacking any self-awareness, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews opened Thursday’s show by blurting out the word “loser” then lambasted Republicans and President Trump as “barbarians” running Washington. If that name-calling wasn’t enough, Matthews later diagnosed the American Health Care Act (AHCA) contrived by a “gang of Obama-litionists” as having suffered “political euthanasia” and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (Calif.) as a dog for informing Trump Wednesday about intelligence collected against his team.

Nets Find Little Interest in Senate Dems’ Filibuster, Freaked Over Garland Block

Thursday was the final day for the Senate Judiciary Committee to hear outside arguments for or against Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch. Despite his stellar qualifications, Senate Democrats vowed to throw a hissy-fit and filibuster the confirmation vote. The act is completely unprecedented and is clearly being done out of revenge. And even with that fact, the Big Three networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) seemed to find little interest in the development and gave the story the bare minimum of a news brief.

ABC, NBC Omit Federal ‘Ruling’ that Trump Is ‘Not Violating’ Hotel Lease

Ever since Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, the liberal media has been harping on the D.C. hotel that bears his name. The concern is that Trump is violating the leasing contract of the historic post office owned by the federal government, which says a public official cannot profit from the property. But according to a news brief by anchor Scott Pelley on CBS Evening News on Thursday, that’s no longer an issue for the President, a fact that was omitted by both ABC and NBC.
