Media BiASSed:

What’s Old Is News Again: Nets Hype Testimony of Sally Yates

After almost four months since former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates’ warning to the White House regarding the lies of then National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was illegally leaked to the press, Yates testified before a Senate sub-committee Monday where she confirmed that’s what she did. The media played up the hearing, expecting there to be a “bombshell.” In reality, she simply offered a detailed retelling of her actions. But that didn’t stop the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) from going nuts later that night.

Excited CBS: Yates Will Deliver ‘Explosive’ ‘Bombshell’ on Trump

All three networks on Monday excitedly promoted the anti-Trump potential of the testimony of a woman the President fired. CBS This Morning predicted that former acting Attorney General Sally Yates would deliver “explosive” “bombshells” about possible connections to Russia. Reporters on NBC’s Today reassured viewers that the Democrat was totally reliable. ABC included a clip of liberal Senator Dianne Feinstein to make that point.

Nets Swoon Over Obama’s Call for ‘Courage’ to Keep ObamaCare

On Monday, the network morning shows were openly gleeful that former President Obama used his speech accepting a Profile in Courage Award from his liberal friends in the Kennedy family to trash Republican efforts to fix the mountain of problems created by ObamaCare. The ABC, CBS, and NBC broadcasts managed to ignore any of those failures as they cheered on Democratic efforts to use the issue to tear down the GOP.

‘American Eloquence’; MSNBC Panel Goes Gaga Over Obama Receiving JFK Award

On Sunday night, the thrill inside of MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was alive and well for Barack Obama as he anchored a two-hour special swooning over the “American eloquence” of the President as he received the Profile in Courage Award from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library.

CBS Highlights Anti-US Protests in South Korea, Ignores New American Detained in The North

More terrible news broke out of North Korea overnight where the murderous regime detained another American on questionable charges. Every one of the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) reported on the development Monday morning. Sadly both CBS and NBC decided to move on from the story come evening. For CBS Evening News, they decided it wasn’t worth the time. But they did find time for a report highlighting anti-U.S. protests.

Stelter, Tur Clash With Jorge Ramos on Being ‘Stand-Ins for Democrats’

The unique brand of journalistic jihad that Jorge Ramos espouses in covering the Trump administration is so extreme that the Univision anchorman now even raises the hackles of other top national media figures he interacts with, such as CNN’s Brian Stelter and NBC’s Katy Tur.

Late Night TV Comics: 100 Days of Trashing Trump

Just a few days after CBS’s Stephen Colbert unleashed a vulgar tirade against President Trump, a new study has documented just how unfriendly late night TV has been to the new Commander-in-Chief. The Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University counted an incredible 1,060 jokes directed against Trump during the President’s first 100 days in office. That’s more than ten times as many barbs as aimed at all Democrats — combined — during the same period (95), and considerably more than both Barack Obama and Bill Clinton received during the entire first year of their presidencies (936 and 440 jokes, respectively).
