1. Guilt By Association: Mitchell Sneers That Montana Assault Is ‘Extension’ of Trump

Guilt by association. That’s what Andrea Mitchell believes. Despite the fact that Donald Trump is on another continent, the Andrea Mitchell Reports anchor thinks that the assault against a journalist by a Republican congressional candidate is an “extension” of the President. Talking about Greg Gianforte’s attack on Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs, the MSNBC host connected, “There is so much hostility, frankly, to the press, a lot of it generated by the Donald Trump rallies.”

2. MSNBC Host: ‘How Much Blame’ Does Trump Get for Montana Incident?

During Thursday’s 3 p.m. ET hour, MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin just naturally assumed that President Trump deserved blame for Montana congressional candidate Creg Gianforte assaulting a reporter: “And how much blame should President Trump get, considering some of the rhetoric that we’ve heard from this president and – well, before he was president – and from the candidate himself?”

But Ferguson wasn’t able to make his point because as soon as he uttered the name of one of these Democrats, the liberal panel exploded in anger and shut him down.

While there, he emphasized that all members of the organization should be paying the two percent of GDP obligation they agreed to, instead of just the handful that do.
