1. CNN Goes Bonkers: Spends 10 Hours on Comey Before a Single Word of Testimony

 

Former FBI Director James Comey has not said a single word in public, but the liberal media have been salivating for days over his upcoming testimony on Thursday. Case in point: from noon on Thursday (June 1) when the date for the testimony was set, until noon today (June 7), CNN has already devoted more than 10 hours of coverage to testimony that has yet to even occur. Their “Comey Countdown” logo first appeared at 3:01 AM on Monday – a full three days before the hearing was slated to start.

2. Matt Lauer: Trump Guilty of ‘Emotional Definition’ of Obstruction of Justice?

Matt Lauer is not a legal scholar, but apparently the morning show host likes to play one on TV. On Wednesday’s NBC Today, while lamenting reports that former FBI Director James Comey would not accuse President Trump of obstruction of justice during his congressional testimony on Thursday, Lauer still tried find a crime by absurdly claiming that Trump’s actions surrounding the Russia investigation may have met the “emotional definition” of obstruction.

3. Rather: Comey Hearing Is ‘Code Red’ for U.S., Furious Trump Was Told He Wasn’t Being Investigated

 

On Tuesday, disgraced former CBS Evening News anchor and fake news connoisseur Dan Rather was somehow a relevant voice on MSNBC’s Hardball, raging at former FBI Director Jim Comey for admitting in prepared remarks for Thursday’s hearing that he told President Trump that he wasn’t under FBI investigation.

4. ABC, NBC Disparage Intelligence Chiefs as Anonymous Reports Collapse

 

In the days and hours leading up to a hearing of the Senate’s Intelligence Committee on Wednesday, the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBC, and NBC) were giddy at the prospect of two heads of U.S. intelligence agencies fingering President Trump in a plot to shut down the Russian investigation. But after the two and a half hour long hearing, they weren’t kicking themselves for getting their hopes up, they were kicking Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and NSA Director Michael Rogers for not giving them what they wanted.

5. Andrea Mitchell Accuses Intel Officials of ‘Stonewalling’ After They Deny Political Pressure

 

Following Wednesday’s Senate Intelligence Committee hearing in which Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and National Security Agency Director Admiral Mike Rogers both denied that the White House tried to pressure them to drop the Russia investigation, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell was in a panic. She accused the respected intelligence officials of “stonewalling” and providing “non-answers.”

6. Nets Ignore Oversight Report Showing Holder Impeded Fast and Furious Investigation

 

While the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) spent Wednesday focusing on a Senate hearing they were hoping would implicate President Trump in obstruction of justice, they ignored a House Oversight Committee report that showed President Obama’s administration did just that. “An absolutely blistering report tonight out saying the Obama administration in general and former Attorney General Eric Holder in particular repeatedly lied to the family of a slain Border Patrol officer about the weapons used in his death, and stonewalled efforts to get at the truth,” announced Fox News’ Bret Baier on Special Report.

7. Of Course: China-Loving Friedman Trashes Trump, Suggests He’s Mentally Unstable

 

New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman appeared on the Tuesday edition of CNN’s The Situation Room and, in addition to flaunting his love for communist China, suggested that President Trump is mentally unstable even though “I’m not a doctor.”
