Media BiASSed:

1. Nets Dedicate 28X More Coverage to Trump Tweet than Kate’s Law Passing House

On Thursday, all of Washington, D.C. and every liberal news outlet was obsessed with a pair of early morning tweets sent out by President Trump. But there was also some good being done in D.C. that day. In two bipartisan votes, the House passed both Kate’s Law and a measure to punish sanctuary cities. However, viewers of ABC and CBS would not have known about them since they omitted it from their coverage, while NBC gave it less than 30 seconds.

2. Matthews Suggests Trump Channel Mussolini, Murder Kushner; Compares Him to Ethiopian Dictator

Go ahead and criticize President Trump’s Mika tweet, but there’s no denying this was disturbing. On Thursday’s Hardball, MSNBC pundit Chris Matthews compared the President to not only communist Ethiopian dictator Mengistu Haile Mariam and a modern-day Romanov but also channel Benito Mussolini having son-in-law Jared Kushner murdered.

3. Sarah Huckabee Sanders Cites MRC Study on Networks Obsessing Over Russia

At Thursday’s combative White House press briefing, deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders cited the latest blockbuster study by the Media Research Center’s Rich Noyes, which found that the evening newscasts of ABC, CBS, and NBC spent May and June obsessing over possible Trump-Russia collusion to the detriment of actual policy topics.

4. Angry Joe Scarborough Lashes Out at ‘Stalinist’ Trump’s Media Critique

The liberal media remained in damage control mode Thursday as they sought to contain the ever-widening blast radius emerging from CNN. Bret Stephens from the New York Times arrived on the set of Morning Joe to decry the White House’s attack on the media. Stephens defended CNN by claiming that the growing scandal merely represented a “mistake.”  Co-host Joe Scarborough went even further in his criticism of the President by labeling his criticism of the media as “Stalinist.”

5. CBS: ‘Blood’ of ‘Innocent People’ on GOP Hands After Medicaid Cuts

As the Media Research Center reported earlier this week, the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) continued to spread the fake news that Senate Republicans were cutting Medicaid despite the Congressional Budget Office’s report the proved otherwise. CBS News dropped their reporting to a new low Thursday evening when they reported that the cuts could lead to the deaths of people suffering from opioid addiction.
