Media BiASSed: Truth and Fairness Forgotten…

1. Trump Triggers the Press with His Foreign Trips and Wrestling Tweet

President Donald Trump has a knack for getting under the liberal media’s skin and driving them into hyperbolic criticisms of just about everything he does. Whether it was tweeting out a goofy .gif of him wrestling CNN to the ground, or delivering a patriotic speech overseas the press couldn’t contain their overreactions.

2. CBS Mocks Senate Republicans for Failure to Pass Health Care Reform

Republican hopes of repealing and replacing ObamaCare hit yet another brick wall in the Senate on Tuesday, effectively killing current efforts. While the other networks in the Big Three (ABC and NBC) remarked on the failure of action after seven years of promises, the reporting on CBS Evening News took on a mocking tone filled with glee. “They control the White House and the Congress, but Republicans could not deliver on the promise they’ve been making since the day ObamaCare became law: to repeal and replace it,” quipped Anchor Anthony Mason at the top of the program.

3. NBC Gloats: GOP Health Bill Failure a ‘Devastating Blow’ to Trump

On Tuesday, the hosts and correspondents of NBC’s Today could not contain their excitement as they gloated over the failure of the Republican Senate health care bill. “For seven years Republican lawmakers have vowed to overturn ObamaCare, but this morning their latest plan has come to a screeching halt,” proclaimed fill-in co-host Willie Geist.

Early Tuesday morning, the Trump administration issued new sanctions against well over a dozen Iranian citizens and organizations in retaliation for the county’s recent destabilizing and hostile actions in the region. CBS Evening News was the only network news outlet to report the new sanctions to their viewers. But in addition, they struck a skeptical tone on the administration’s claims against Iran as White House and Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent Margaret Brennan sat down to chat with Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Javad Zarif.

5. Desperate CBS: Is Indiana Mayor the Democrats’ Next ‘Rising Star?’

With a Democratic Party dominated by the 69-year-old Hillary Clinton and the 68-year-old Elizabeth Warren, the journalists at CBS This Morning are apparently desperate to find a young, dynamic leader for the liberal cause. Apparently, they’ve found him. Not a senator or a governor, but the mayor of South Bend Indiana.

6. Bitter Colbert Begs: ‘Is There Hope, Al Gore?’; How Can Clinton ‘Deal’ With ‘Ridiculous Situation?’

Former Vice President-turned-global warming activist Al Gore has been making his media rounds this week to promote his new film, An Inconvenient Sequel (which is of course the sequel to An Inconvenient Truth.) Monday night he appeared on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show, where the severely anti-Trump host spent nearly the entire interview asking about the president.
