The broadcast networks’ obsession with all things Russia continues: Over the last ten days (July 9 to July 18, including weekends), the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts have devoted nearly two hours (114 minutes) to the ongoing probe of potential 2016 collusion — far more airtime than they devoted to any other political topic.

As the White House becomes further entrenched in the throes of media claims of Russian collusion, it seemed only natural that the news media would have a fit of spasmodic rage when President Trump had an undisclosed meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit of world leaders.

3. Nets Hype ‘Another Russia Controversy’ Over Trump’s ‘Startling’ Chat With Putin

 

“Too cozy,” “controversy,” “striking,” “crisis,” “starling,” those were just some of the hyperbolic terms thrown around on Wednesday’s network morning shows as hosts and correspondents panicked over news that President Trump had a casual after-dinner conversation with Vladimir Putin surrounded by dozens of other world leaders at the G20 Summit earlier this month.

4. Media Push ‘Previously Undisclosed’ Trump-Putin Chat Despite BuzzFeed Report at the Time

 

Media outlets ranging from CBS to CNN and MSNBC had egg on their faces Tuesday night after their bombshell revelations about a supposedly new, “previously undisclosed” meeting between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin fell flat upon reading a July 8 BuzzFeed news item.

5. Nets Blackout Report Showing Postal Service Broke Law to Support Hillary/Dems

 

In a Senate hearing on Capitol Hill Wednesday, the United States Postal Service felt the heat bipartisan scorn for decades of violations of federal election laws. “A new report tonight states that Postal Service employees were allowed to take leave from their jobs and still get paid as they campaigned for Hillary Clinton last year,” announced Fox News Channel Anchor Bret Baier during Special Report. Evening in light of the report by Postal Service’s oversight office, ABC, CBS, and NBC failed to inform their viewers.

6. ABC, NBC Skip First Meeting of Voter Fraud Commission, CBS Misleads

 

On Wednesday, President Trump’s bipartisan Commission on Election Integrity, led by Vice President Mike Pence, assembled for the first time. The commission’s responsibility was to investigate possible election fraud and other election related criminal behavior. Despite the importance of this commission, ABC and NBC failed to give the commission any time at all during their evening broadcasts. CBS was the only network in the Big Three to mention it, but they were skeptical and mislead on its intentions.

7. ‘We Don’t Communicate to Them!’ CNN Commentator Unloads on Panel, Media Disconnect

 

Late in Tuesday’s AC360, former Republican National Committee (RNC) official and CNN political commentator Mike Shields unloaded on his fellow panelists and the news media at large for failing to connect with Americans outside the Washington D.C. area.

Far-left View co-host Joy Behar slobbered all over Bernie Sanders, Wednesday, lauding the socialist as a “hot” “hero.” This is the same Behar who previously said that she was “aroused” by the politician
