Media BiASSed:

1. The White House’s Stephen Miller Destroys CNN: ‘Cosmopolitan,’ ‘Outrageous,’ ‘Ignorant,’ ‘Biased’

White House adviser Stephen Miller absolutely eviscerated the “cosmopolitan bias” of CNN journalist Jim Acosta, slamming his immigration claims as “ignorant.” Appearing at a briefing on Donald Trump’s new merit-based immigration policy, Acosta began by lecturing, “What you’re proposing, or what the President is proposing, does not sound like it’s in keeping with American tradition when it comes to immigration.”

4. Acosta: Trump Immigration Rollout Is a ‘Dog-Whistle’ to Base, Not Mexicans, Muslims, or Media

Wednesday was quite the day for the feckless CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta as he had his clock cleaned by White House policy adviser Stephen Miller over immigration. CNN gave Acosta hourly opportunities to change the narrative, but they did quite the opposite by only reinforcing Acosta’s derisory behavior masquerading as moralism.

At the White House on Wednesday the President rolled out a new legislative proposal to reform the current legal immigration system by having it focused on skilled labor and other merits. And as would be expected, the liberal media were foaming at the mouth over the new policy. Their disgust was obvious during ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News, where they smeared the move and touted irate outbursts from CNN’s Jim Acosta.

6. But Brian Williams? Chuck Todd Laments: ‘I Would Be Fired for Lying’

MSNBC’s Chuck Todd spent the first 20 minutes on Wednesday’s MTP Daily complaining about the White House and its “credibility crisis.” “If it’s Wednesday, we’ve come a long way from George Washington and that cherry tree. 7. The Oceans Rise at CBS as Hosts Melt Over Gore

You know it’s a bad sign when the comedy host is a tougher “journalist” than the actual reporters. But that’s what played out as The Daily Show and CBS This Morning both featured interviews with Al Gore. The ex-Vice President is promoting his new climate change sequel and endured this softball from CBS’s Charlie Rose: “So, tell me, in ten years, what has changed that alarms you?”

8. MSNBC Panel Denounces Trump’s ‘Assault on Civil Rights’

After all three broadcast networks fretted Wednesday morning over the Justice Department taking steps to challenge Affirmative Action policies that may discriminate against white students, on her 12 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show, anchor Andrea Mitchell worried the move had the “potential to reopen long decided cases of Affirmative Action, which is alarming civil rights groups and academic institutions across the country.”
