1. FLASHBACK: Media Roll Over For Hillary on Her Book Tours

 

It’s already started: CBS’s Jane Pauley rolled out the red carpet for Hillary Clinton, in her first book tour stop promoting What Happened. The CBS Sunday Morning host treated the 2016 loser with kid gloves as she tenderly laid up softball after softball, feeling Hillary’s pain. Of course, this is the kind of book tour treatment Clinton has grown accustomed to, whether she was hawking a book as First Lady, first year Senator or presidential candidate.

2. Matthews Hails ‘Profound’ Book by ‘Moderate’ Hillary Despite Not Reading the Whole Thing

 

Seemingly everyone has an opinion about Hillary Clinton’s pity party/book What Happened and so, it was Hardball’s turn on Tuesday. Host Chris Matthews proclaimed it to be “a very profound and candid book” by “moderate” Hillary despite the fact that he hasn’t read the whole book yet.

3. Andrea Mitchell: Hillary ‘Really Does Connect the Dots’ Between Trump and Russia

 

Leading off a fawning panel discussion on Tuesday about Hillary Clinton’s new memoir rehashing the 2016 campaign, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell promised viewers a “big scoop” as she promoted the failed Democratic nominee’s “latest admission to Susan Page of USA Today that she is convinced associates of Donald Trump’s campaign helped Russia meddle in the election.”

4. Clinton: Media Landscape Unfair to Dems; Right Has ‘Dedicated Propaganda’ Channels

 

After losing the presidential election ten months ago, Hillary Clinton is still on the blame game tour, this time to promote her election memoir What Happened, which was released today, September 12. She continued the whining and pointing of fingers during her appearance on the liberal podcast, “Pod Save America,” which is hosted by former speechwriters for President Obama.

5. Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder Push Climate Change During Telethon; Deniers Are ‘Blind or Unintelligent’

 

Tuesday night’s telethon Hand In Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief was bursting at the seams with celebrities, moving musical performances, and journalists from ABC, CBS, and NBC, so it was all the more disappointing when Beyoncé and Stevie Wonder promoted climate change as having caused Harvey and Irma.

6. CNN, MSNBC Bash Trump’s ‘Climate Deniers’ for Not Hyping Hurricane Connection

 

The journalists on MSNBC and CNN on Tuesday continued to be annoyed that Donald Trump hasn’t connected Hurricanes Harvey and Irma to global warming. MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle offered a snide aside in a story on Pope Francis: “ In the wake of Hurricane Irma, Pope Francis is criticizing climate change deniers.”

7. Lauer and Tur Share Trauma of Trump Attacking the Media

 

Promoting her new book about covering Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, on Tuesday’s NBC Today, correspondent Katy Tur told co-host Matt Lauer that the then-presidential candidate’s public criticism of her reporting was “jarring” and “scary.” Lauer shared her fear as he recalled the “intense feeling” he got at Trump rallies when the Republican nominee would attack the liberal media.
