Beyond the immediate encouragement to avoid disputes, an armed society also inures a level of respect that filters out through all of its members. That is the deciding issue we are confronting in this debate. The disrespect we receive from the antigun crowd.

As a supporter of the second amendment I am astounded at the disrespect that the left holds for all of us. If you were to choose the easiest way to tear a society apart, all you need to do is encourage a systemic disrespect of half its members. This will tear apart any cooperative activities and develop suspicions between all of society’s members.

Thus you see the end game of the democrats coming into view. Shred the unity and then inject government to control the disunity. Simple and direct. It worked for Hitler. Lenin. Mao. and ahost of other dictators.

As a second amendment supporter I find it hard to respect the democrats who despise me. Even so, I do not wish that they suffer discrimination as we do. As satisfying as that may seem, it is ciounter-productive to resolving the dispute between us. Besides, revenge simply creates more disrespect.

Additionally, when your opponent is self energizing as far as creating disrespect in a society there is no sense egging them on. By letting them continue the process they will eventually take it too far.

Know what the democrats do is self serving and destined to either a tyrannical socialist state or their extinction . Either way, this dispute will not go on forever.
