In order to tear down a class system, regardless of the efficacy of that system, there needs to be an absolute force to mandate this. Marx anticipated the resistance that those who would be displaced and ‘assigned’ new roles would have to be forced to do so.

Further feeding this violence is the envy that is cultivated in the minds of those who are lured into the socialist army who then begin to thirst for the opportunity to ‘level the playing field’. This is echoed in the recorded statements of Bernie’s minions who seem to relish the chance to bash some upper class heads.

What is unfortunate with the entire debate is that the socialists do not want to talk about a functional economic system that has a chance to survive As history has proven, socialism has not had a great track record. Even China, who embodied the Socialist system for so long has succumbed to capitalism to placate its people who have become aware of the benefits of a capitalist system that rewards hard work and initiative.

The survivability of the economic system of a society is as important as how well that society treats its citizens. Offering economic opportunity is the easiest way for a nation to allow its citizens to find their own niche and happiness.

Back to force. Any social system that has to resort to force to implement its policies is not one that will be received with any enthusiasm and those who advocate such notions should be prepared for resistance and dedicated resistance at that.
