Gun Sense?

Not so much..

Everytown Cheers Reintroduction of Universal Background Check Bill: A ‘Critical First Step’

Nonsense is more apt. These people will never understand the truth.

Guns are not the problem..

Bad people are, criminals.

Yet theses clowns continue to hammer at our Rights.

The ‘Us’ versus ‘them’ scenario is not played out any better than in the gun control debate. We are at war whether we want to admit it or not.

These is a consortium of people who have a vision of a society that they desire that is disarmed and holds tightly to the socialist ideals. Never mind that this is a utopian dream that cannot exist in any way that does not include massive breaches of human rights and dignity. This consortium has willingly put blinders on as to the inconvenient facts that accompany their desires. I would add, they don’t care if members of the proletariat are injured, imprisoned or killed as these people who make up the consortium live ‘above’ our social strata.

As a result of this divide, we see proposals of various largely ineffective gun control laws all supposed to ‘curb violent crime’ but are instead intended to disarm the populace as this is the next necessary step in the path towards this utopian socialist society. In fact, if we resist we simply give them a reason to ramp up the control process and disarm us even quicker.

As much as I hate to say this, we are heading to an intersection where we will have a last chance to choose which way we are to go forward as a class of people (freedom loving gun owners).

We will either submit meekly to the latest infringement on our rights thereby gradually surrendering our rights and freedom willingly a piece at a time or we will decide to say NO and do whatever is required to deny them this latest new ‘control’. How this manifests is more a question of how the utopian powers that be react to our ‘disobedience’. The constant should be that we will not give another inch to their desires. To say NO is the decision we need to make.

When I was younger I used to think that voting and the process was important to our freedom. Now, I see things more as our founders did in that we need to be willing to water the tree of Liberty with the blood of patriots and tyrants from time to time if we honestly do want to see that our freedoms are to be maintained as they were intended to be. This blood sacrifice is the cost of freedom and this will never change.

Just because our world has developed technically does not make freedom obsolete. Real freedom is granted by our creator and only society can limit that and we cannot stand for further infringements any longer.

Yep. They’re not concerned about criminals. They are concerned about (afraid of) “We The People”.
