Steal our Freedoms

Losing our liberty through Regulation, Taxation, and Gun Control

It’s almost as if we are living in a dream world.  We actually have UNITED STATES SENATORS and a PRESIDENT who think it is perfectly alright to circumvent the U.S. Constitution and limit our rights as they see fit!

Off With a Bang: Assault on Second Amendment Begins

President Buck Ofama is planning an aggressive, in-your-face, blitzkrieg-style campaign against Americans’ fundamental Second Amendment right to self-defense.

In an interview with Stephen Moore of the Wall Street Journal, newly re-elected House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) opened up about President Obama’s utter unwillingness to cut a single dollar from federal spending. In a stunning admission, Obama reportedly told Boehner, “We don’t have a spending problem.”

The Most Powerful Weapons We Possess

George Washington warned us in his Farewell Address about a time in America’s future when we might be tempted to discard the pillars of civility: “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them.”

Girls With Guns

In last week’s column, “Good Guys With Guns,” I wrote about the Mayan 14 incident, in which a shooter was halted by an off-duty cop. I referred to the cop as a “good guy,” and my readers were quick to issue a correction: the good guy was actually a girl. Lisa Castellano shot the wannabe James Holmes after he ran into the Mayan 14 theater and began firing—and managed to snatch away his gun.

The Nazi Origins of American Gun Control Laws

PFO has hard evidence that shows that the Nazi Weapons Law (March 18, 1938) is the source of the U.S Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA ’68). Adolph Hitler signed the Nazi Weapons Law. The Gestapo (Nazi National Secret Police) enforced it. In “Gun Control”: Gateway to Tyranny we present the official German text of the Nazi Weapons Law and a side-by-side translation into English. Even more deadly: a side-by-side, section-by-section comparison of the GCA ’68 with the Nazi Weapons Law. . . .

The Gun as a Constant Companion

Need no. Want? Hell yeah!!

A freshman upstate New York state assemblyman told Human Events instead of making law-abiding gun owners criminals, the state should focus on actual criminals.

“The murderer who killed two volunteer firemen just 20 minutes from my home had previously smashed his own grandmother’s skull in with a hammer, yet here he was living free, without parole supervision,” said. Republican William R. Nojay, who is an attorney and radio show host.

Heitkamp: Obama’s extreme gun control won’t pass Congress

The newly sworn in freshman Democratic senator from North Dakota told George Stephanopoulos on his “This Week” ABC News program that President Buck Ofama’s agenda to further restrict gun rights will not pass Congress.

“Well, I think you need to put everything on the table, but what I hear from the administration — and if the Washington Post is to be believed — that’s way — way in extreme of what I think is necessary or even should be talked about–and it’s not going to pass,” said Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.)

After Pinpointing Gun Owners, Paper Is a Target

” WHITE PLAINS — Local newspapers across the country look for stories that will bring them national attention, but The Journal News, a daily nestled in a wooded office park in a suburb north of New York, may have gotten more than it bargained for.

Two weeks ago, the paper published the names and addresses of handgun permit holders — a total of 33,614 — in two suburban counties, Westchester and Rockland, and put
